Football and Smiles

Anita Beth played in a tennis match in Columbus, MS Sunday, leaving Addison and I to watch football. We love football.

Eli Manning played great Sunday. He is her favorite player. She especially loved watching him lead the Giants back from down 24-7 to the Eagles and then throwing a touchdown pass in overtime to win the game. It made her smile. Later Gracie came in for hugs. Addie was still smiling in her swing this morning. We are both lucky to have someone like Eli to cheer for because Ole Miss isn't worth a hoot.

The Wedding

As you can see below we had a great weekend and Gracie managed to be the center of attention at a Wedding that wasn't her own. Here she is on her way to congratulate the Bride and Groom just seconds after they had walked down the aise at the Ritz Carlton. Posted by Picasa

Wedding in Cleveland

We took a family trip to Cleveland to watch Anita Beth's friend Keren get married. It was a blast. Gracie and Addie had a great time. Gracie is now well known at the Ritz-Carlton in downtown Cleveland. I chased her all night. She also managed some time with the band and with the bride. We were exhausted, but it was fun.

The day of the wedding we found a fun grocery store called Trader Joe's with Gracie-sized shopping carts. That was a hoot.

Another Week on the Farm

I never get tired of these Farm pictures. We have so much fun together in the evenings taking care of the animals. At bottom you can see how Addie is already starting to resemble her Father. Substitute beer can for Diet Coke can and there I am.

My Parents Went to Oxford and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt

AB and I spent last weekend in Oxford. We had a great time. Gracie stayed with Granny (Iris) in Selmer. Addie made the trip. She even went to the game with us. She also accompanied us to Two Stick, a great sushi restaurant, and to Doe's on Sunday night. That was big piece of meat. She was good everywhere she went. She especially enjoyed getting passed around to all the different people in the Grove. We had alot of fun. And Ole Miss won, which is always a plus.
